About RUA Camping
Hello there!
RUA Campsite is located on the smallest of the three Aran Islands. The Island is accessible
by boat or plane from Galway and is just a short 15-minute boat trip from Doolin, Co. Clare.
Perfectly situated just a short walk from the Island’s pier and airstrip, your tent will be
pitched and your adventure begun in no time! Nestled behind the sand dunes of Inis Oirr’s
beautiful beach you will be just a few steps away from a morning swim with breath-taking
views of Galway and Clare.
RUA Camping offers the opportunity to experience a holiday which combines the old with
the new.
The campsite is on the same site as the Island’s independently run public toilet block with showers. RUA Camping has a reception area, a small kitchenette with dish washing facilities and the shower and w/c block.
